Hannah’s formal music education includes a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Acadia University, and an ARCT Performance Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto). She is an alumnus of both the Elora Festival Young Artist Program and the Scotia Festival of Music Young Artist Program, and has been the recipient of numerous Nova Scotia Talent Trust scholarships for music study. As a student she has been a National Finalist in the Canadian Music Competition and a finalist in the University of Ottawa Concerto Competition.

Having recently settled in the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Hannah is now a regular solo recitalist in the St. John’s Anglican Music and Meditation concert series in Lunenburg, freelance collaborative pianist with instrumentalists and vocalists, and the resident accompanist for both the Studio Singers in Chester and the South Shore Children’s Choir in Mahone Bay.

She has performed across the Maritimes and in Ontario with various ensembles and choirs, including the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and the University of Ottawa Opera Workshop, the Nova Scotia Youth Choir, the Acadia University Singing Theatre Ensemble, the Manning Memorial Chapel Choir, the Aeolian Singers, and the Annapolis Valley Honour Choir.

Hannah has been piano adjudicator at music festivals throughout Nova Scotia, and while living in Halifax was faculty and head of the piano department at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts.
